At Ultra Music Festival she asked where “Molly” was and said a DJ saved her life before it was cool to love EDM. Maybe an attempt at trying to stay relevant, however, incredibly unapologetic about everything, Madonna has always been a champion for “expressing herself” (pun intended) and her love of all things dance music. Being a club kid in New York in the 80’s was how she got her start and we all know the rest of the story.
Her new single Turn Up the Radio, of her MDNA album, is obviously dance inspired and in this instance R3hab had the pleasure of providing the remix. That being said, I don’t think you can remix a mediocre song into a good one; it feels forced like, you want to try and like it because it’s Madonna and she’s great, but, you can’t justify it because the song falls flat.
