Earlier this week the CEO’s of both Ultra Music and Ultra Music Festival both decided that it would be in their best interest to band together and form a multi-media authority on all things EDM, a “global alliance,” is what it was actually referred to; and although, both have shared the same name for many years they were always a separate but equal entity in that they both wanted to thrust the EDM culture into the stratosphere. That being said let’s see what these powerhouses of music are brining to the table!
Ultra Music – Bringing you the most remixes and compilations from exotic destinations and the world’s most sought after DJ’s, Ultra Music has been releasing music since 1996 with its own YouTube channel to watch the latest videos and live performances. Along with being a Grammy winning record label, with locations all over the country, they’re always on top of what’s new now.
Ultra Music Festival – Even if you’re not from Miami (but especially if you are) you know it, you love it, you were able to watch for the first time live from your computer this year, they took it global hitting up Argentina, Brazil and Korea and it’s a love fest of EDM. Ultra music Festival has been a staple in sharing their love of dance music over the past 14 years and they feel it’s time to take you to the next level. They introduced their own YouTube channel earlier this year, UMF TV, with a behind the scenes look with the artists with more episodes to be released. Having over 200,000 people a year in one location and growing speaks to the togetherness that the UMF is trying to achieve.
